You can sign up in person during shop hours, by mail or on line. 

Stained Glass Lead or Copper Foil Method

Thursday Evenings 6pm-8:30 pm **Next Session: October 10th through December 5th. No class November 28th.**

Class Duration: 4 or 8 Week Course. For a 4 week class, you will be given a punch card which is good for 5 weeks. You can attend 4 classes during that 5 week time period. For an 8 week class, you will be given a punch card which is good for 10 weeks. You can attend 8 classes during that 10 week time period.  

Class Size: Minimum 4 students; Maximum 10 students 

Instructor: Bob Wilhelm

Cost: $210 + Supplies for 8 weeks; $120 + Supplies for 4 weeks.  Class fee includes 20 hours of class time/instruction (8 weeks) or 10 hours of class time/instruction (4 weeks), a basic glass cutter and use of soldering irons, glass grinders and soldering flux. There is a limited supply of glass tools available for students to share. For students wanting their own tools, Hen Picked Antiques carries a full line, including grinders, at competitive prices. Hen Picked Antiques cannot warranty tools that are not purchased through us. We carry a large supply of stained glass and students are strongly encouraged to purchase their glass at Hen Picked Antiques. Class fee must be paid at time of registration in order to reserve your spot. Registration is accepted by phone, mail, on line or at the shop. We accept cash, charge, Paypal or check made payable to Hen Picked Antiques, LLC.  There is a $5 convenience fee if you pay by Paypal.  There is a 20% cancellation fee if the student cancels.

Please Note: This is a beginner’s class. The first project should be 40 pieces or less and no larger than 24 x 24. No lamp shades or lamp panels for first class.  Hen Picked Antiques provides storage space for student projects and tools. Safety glasses are required and can be purchased at the shop or brought in from home. Closed toed shoes (no sandals, flip flops, etc.) are required. You must be 18 years or older in order to take the class. One person per project (no project sharing).

 

Stained Glass in an Afternoon Workshop 
Mountain Landscape or Lighthouse Suncatcher, October 13th & 20th, 1-4 pm. $45/student. Min. 4 students, Max 12 students. Have you wanted to try stained glass, but don't want to commit to an eight week class?  Here's your chance!  Join our team of instructors for this fun workshop.  All materials & instruction are included. Each student will receive a kit including pre-cut glass pieces and metal hardware.  You'll learn the basics of copper foiling and soldering.  No prior stained glass experience is required.  Space & kits are limited. Reserve your seat today!  

Whine & Paint:  
Wednesday, October 9th, 6-9 pm $35 per person.  Min. 4 students, Max. 17.  Join Artist-Instructor Patricia Linehan for this fun canvas painting class.  Choose from 3 seasonal designs. Each design is template based and made to fit a 16x20 canvas.  No painting experience is necessary and you are sure to leave with your own masterpiece.  Colors can be customized to suit your taste & decor. All instruction, materials & aprons to protect clothing.  Students are permitted to bring a snack and non-alcoholic beverage. **Registration & Payment for painting classes is handled directly by Patricia. Chair Caning: 
Rolling registration, Session begins when we have 3+ students.  Wednesdays, 6:15-8:45pm, Min. 3 students, Max. 8 students. $225, includes instruction booklet and supplies to complete an average sized chair. Students provide a chair. Project must be taken home after each class so please be sure to choose a chair that you can easily transport back and forth to class. Safety glass and closed toe shoes are required (no sandals, flip flops, etc).   Instructor: Pat Grady
