At Hen Picked Antiques, we offer a variety of classes! 

Stained Glass (Morning Class) Wednesdays, 10am-12:30pm, June 6th - August 1st. * No class on July 4th. Min. 2 students, Max. 7. $200 + supplies. In this class, you will get 20 hours of hands-on instruction while learning either the copper foil OR lead stained glass method.  Students purchase glass.  A variety of tools are available for use during class and there are also additional tools available for purchase.  A basic cutting tool is included with the class fee.  Safety glasses and closed toe shoes are required. New Class! Introduction to Glass Fusing/Basic Jewelry Making (Morning Class) 
Thursdays 10:30am-1pm May 24-June 14. Min. 2 students, Max. 6 students. $225, includes supplies and a basic glass cutter ($5 credit if you already have a glass cutter). In this class, you will get 10 hours of hands-on instruction in basic glass cutting, principles of fusing, fusing specifications and kiln firing while creating design elements for jewelry making. You will create several pieces, including a "cab" which can be used for rings, pendants or design elements for future projects. Safety glasses and closed toe shoes are required. Instructor: Rick Wise

Chair Caning: Rolling registration, Session begins when we have 2+ students.  Thursdays, 6:15-8:45pm, Min. 2 students, Max. 7 students. $225, includes instruction booklet and supplies to complete an average sized chair. Students provide a chair. Safety glasses are required and can be purchased at the shop or brought in from home.    Please Note: Project must be taken home after each class so please be sure to choose a chair that you can easily transport back and forth to class each night. Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals, flip flops, etc).   Instructor: Pat Grady

Whine & Paint Canvas Painting: Paint Your Pet : Sunday, June 3rd, 1-4 pm   Min. 4 students, Max. 20 students. $40 per person and includes all instruction & supplies plus light refreshments. Paint your Pet!  When you register for this unique canvas painting class, we'll ask you to send us a picture of your pet.  Artist-Instructor, Patricia Linehan, will turn that photo into your painting template and will walk you through creating your one-of-a-kind masterpiece on a 12x16 canvas!  Don't have a pet?  Pick an animal and we'll fix a template for you or you can always paint Oscar!!!  

Antique Doll Repair: Rolling Registration, session begins when we have 2+ students. Class meets Wednesdays 1-3:30 pm. Min. 2 students, Max. 7 students.  $225 and includes 20 hours of class time/instruction and basic doll repair supplies (stringing cord, Apoxie sculpt, glue, hooks, etc).  Students will have tools available to use during class or they may bring their own from home. Students should bring 2-3 hard plastic dolls (from the 1950s or 60s) to the 2nd class. Students will learn the origin of dolls, care and cleaning techniques, doll clothing, some basic restoration, and identification and values of dolls. Project must be taken home after each class.  Closed toe shoes & safety glasses are required. Instructor: Deborah Miller
