Stained Glass Copper Foil Method -Next session starts March 2024. Exact dates to be determined.

Class Duration: 8 Weeks
Class Size: Minimum 4 students; Maximum 7 students
Instructor: Bob Wilhelm
Cost: $240 + Supplies for 8 weeks. Class fee includes 20 hours of class time/instruction, a basic glass cutter and use of soldering irons, glass grinders and soldering flux. There is a limited supply of glass tools available for students to share. For students wanting their own tools, Hen Picked Antiques carries a full line, including grinders, at competitive prices. We request that you purchase your supplies and tools through Hen Picked Antiques. We cannot warranty tools that are not purchased through us. In the event that you are looking for an item we do not carry, please ask us as we may be able to order it for you. Class fee must be paid at time of registration in order to reserve your spot. Registration is accepted by mail, on line or at the shop. We accept cash, charge, Paypal or check made payable to Hen Picked Antiques, LLC. Please note that there is a 3% convenience fee ($7.20) if you are paying via Paypal or Credit Card. If Hen PIcked Antiques cancels for any reason, we will refund your money or reschedule. We cannot refund money or reschedule classes if a student chooses not to attend at the scheduled time.
Please Note: This class can accommodate students of varying skill levels, from beginner to more advanced. There are many different ways of doing stained glass. The instructor will teach you the way he was taught. If a student chooses to use another method, the instructor's ability to help them will be limited. Classes always start on time so please be courteous of other students. We cannot repeat instructions that have already been covered.
The first project should be 50 pieces or less and no larger than 24x24. No lamp shades, or lamp panels for the first class. Hen Picked Antiques provides storage space for student projects and tools. Student tools and supplies left 30 days after the last scheduled class date will become the property of Hen Picked Antiques. Safety glasses are required and can be purchased at the shop or brought in from home. Closed toed shoes are required (NO SANDALS, FLIPS FLOPS, ETC.). Long pants recommended but not required. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO TAKE THIS CLASS. One person per project (no project sharing).
Stained Glass Workshop
Dates/Projects: These workshops are typically done on Sunday afternoons. We don't currently have any workshops scheduled but you can book a private party! There must be a minimum of 6 students for a private workshop.
Class Size: Min. 4 students, Maximum 6 students
Duration: 4 hours
Cost: $35 + the cost of the kit. The kits range in price from $19.95 to $49.95. Each student receives a coupon for $5 off their next workshop.

Have you wanted to try stained glass, but don't want to commit to an eight week class? Here's your chance! Join us for this fun workshop. All materials & instruction are included. Each student will receive a kit including pre-cut glass pieces and metal hardware. You'll learn the basics of copper foiling and soldering. No prior stained glass experience is required. Space & kits are limited. Reserve your seat today! Closed toe shoes are required (NO SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS, ETC.). YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE.
Fused Glass Workshop
Dates/Projects: TBA We don't currently have any workshops scheduled but you can book a private party! There must be a minimum of 6 students for a private workshop.
Class Size: Minimum 2 students; Maximum 8 students.
Duration: 2-3 hours
Cost: Varies depending on the project. The price typically ranges from $35-$65
Instructor: Jenny Korbar
This is a completely different process from stained glass. Pieces of fusible glass or frit (small pieces of ground up glass)are placed together and put in a kiln, where they are heated and fused together. Projects are available for pick up one week after the class. Closed toed shoes are required (NO SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS, ETC.) YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE.
Chair Caning
Dates and times: TBA
Duration: 8 weeks
Class Size: Minimum 3 students, Maximum 6 students.
Cost: $225, includes instruction booklet and supplies to complete an average sized chair. Students provide a chair.
Instructor: Pat Grady
Project must be taken home after each class so please be sure to choose a chair that you can easily transport back and forth to class. Safety glasses and closed toe shoes are required (NO SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS, ETC.). YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE.
