General Information regarding our Copper Foil Stained Glass Classes

Minimum 6 students; Maximum 12 students. *If we do not get the minimum number of students, the class will be canceled.

Cost: $240 + Supplies for 8 weeks. Class fee includes 20 hours of class time/instruction and use of soldering irons, glass grinders and soldering flux. There is a limited supply of glass tools available for students to share. For students wanting their own tools, Hen Picked Antiques & Stained Glass carries a full line, including grinders, at competitive prices. We request that you purchase your supplies and tools through Hen Picked Antiques. We cannot warranty tools that are not purchased through us. In the event that you are looking for an item we do not carry, please ask us as we may be able to order it for you. Class fee must be paid at time of registration in order to reserve your spot. Registration is accepted by mail, on line or at the shop. We accept cash, charge, Paypal or check made payable to Hen Picked Antiques, LLC. Please note that there is a 3% convenience fee ($7.20) if you are paying via Paypal or Credit/Debit Card. If Hen PIcked Antiques cancels for any reason, we will refund your money or reschedule. We cannot refund money or reschedule classes if a student chooses not to attend at their scheduled time. No exceptions!
Please Note: This class can accommodate students of varying skill levels, from beginner to more advanced. There are many different ways of doing stained glass. The instructor will teach you the way he or she was taught. If a student chooses to use another method, the instructor's ability to help them will be limited. Classes always start on time so please be courteous of other students. We cannot repeat instructions that have already been covered. Students are required to clean up their work stations prior to leaving class for the night.
The first project should be 50 pieces or less and no larger than 24x24. No lamp shades, or lamp panels for the first class. Hen Picked Antiques provides storage space for student projects and tools on a first come, first served basis. Student tools and supplies left 30 days after the last scheduled class date will become the property of Hen Picked Antiques. Safety glasses are required and can be purchased at the shop or brought in from home. Closed toed shoes are required (NO SANDALS, FLIPS FLOPS, ETC.). Long pants recommended but not required. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO TAKE THIS CLASS. One person per project (no cost sharing).

General Information regarding our Stained Glass Workshops
Class Size: Min. 6 students, Maximum 12- 16 students. Workshops are also available for private parties and corporate team building events. Six or more pre-paid students are required to book a private party or corporate event.

Cost: Class fee is $35 per person PLUS the cost of the kit+tax. (Kits are taxable but the class fee is not). The kits range in price from $19.95 to $49.95. Price includes the pre-cut glass, metal hardware, copper foil, solder, flux, instructions and use of soldering irons and tools. Class fee and kit cost must be paid at the time of registration in order to reserve your spot. Registration is accepted by phone, mail, online or at the shop. We accept cash, charge, Paypal or check made payable to Hen Picked Antiques, LLC. Please note there is a 3% convenience fee if paying by Paypal or Credit/Debit. If the student cancels for any reason, only the cost of the kit will be refunded; the class fee is nonrefundable. In this four hour workshop, you will create a piece of stained glass art. Projects are made from kits that include pre-cut glass pieces and metal hardware. (Colors and patterns may vary from samples at shop). There are different designated projects to choose from each month. Students will learn the basics of copper foiling and soldering. This class is great for anyone wanting to try stained glass without a large commitment of time and money. Prior experience is not required. Closed toe shoes are required (NO SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS, ETC.). Long pants are recommended but not required. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE. One person per project (no cost/project sharing).

In this workshop, you will create a beautiful garden stake, which measures approx. 3 1/2" wide X 24" tall. These make great gifts for Mother's Day, or make one for yourself to show off in your garden! The garden stake is made from pre-cut glass, round or oval glass cabachons and pre-cut metal. Students have a large variety of glass pieces to chose from so each garden stake is a unique piece of art. Students will learn to assemble the stake using basic copper foiling and soldering techniques. The cost is $35 per person plus the cost of the kit+tax ($36.92) for a total of $71.92 if paying by cash or check. Please add a 3% convenience fee if you are paying by debit, credit or Paypal for a total of $74.08. The cost includes the pre-cut glass, metal hardware, copper foil, solder, flux, instructions and use of soldering irons and tools.
